Illustrations of a few of my favorite storefront signs from the neighborhoods where I grew up. These signs represent both a feeling of intense nostalgia for me, as well as a valuable (and vulnerable) asset within our communities. Storefront signs represent the stories of individuals and spaces for interaction that make our neighborhoods special - I celebrate these seemingly mundane objects in hopes that they remain a prominent and appreciated part our local landscape.
